About Me

I am a licensed osteopathic acupuncturist in the state of Pennsylvania, and am certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I graduated from the Tri-State College of Acupuncture in Manhattan in 2005 and have been practicing in East Stroudsburg and Stroudsburg ever since.

People often ask me how I discovered acupuncture, and this is what I tell them: at a time when I was sick and nothing helped, acupuncture gave me my life back. Since then, acupuncture has become my livelihood and my avocation, and I feel awed every day by the beauty of this medicine I have the honor of practicing.

One of the things I love about practicing in a small town is that I get to treat all kinds of people coping with all kinds of conditions - I see myself as an acupuncture general practitioner, like an old-time family practice doctor. I get to know my clients and their families, and take the time to listen to what is going on in their lives, their jobs, and their relationships. Not only are these things important to know clinically, but it makes every treatment a personal experience with someone who truly cares.

American patients most often turn to acupuncture for physical pain, either from injury or for pain related to chronic illness. Acupuncture is a powerful treatment for all sorts of pain, and it can also improve performance and resilience so we can better fend off future illness and injury. I treat all sorts of musculoskeletal disorders, and am unique in the area for practicing trigger-point release. I help patients support their own wellness by integrating stretching, qi gong and postural adjustments that can keep pain patterns from recurring.

I also have a passion for working on the other end of the body-mind continuum. Supporting clients who are exploring and embracing their emotional and spiritual selves, acting as a sounding board and confidante and cheerleader, and of course using the delightfully subtle but remarkably powerful tool of acupuncture to facilitate change brings me great joy. It excites me to see human beings transform and grow in wisdom and health and I'm honored to be able to walk a few steps of that journey with them.

About Free Flow
I established Free Flow Acupuncture in the summer of 2012 after renovating a storefront in the Wallace Building in downtown Stroudsburg. I am so grateful to practice acupuncture here, and each time a client walks in the door I feel like I am welcoming them into my home!
